AI “clone” science communicator
We will run a public experiment at Miraikan featuring an AI “clone” science communicator—an AI agent designed not only to answer questions but to co-learn with people as a partner. By enabling one persona to hold multiple simultaneous one-to-one conversations, the system gathers diverse perspectives and feeds them back to the original person, creating a continuous, mutual update loop between the human and their AI clone. In this experiment, the clone’s responses are built from prior interviews with the communicator and reply in a voice modeled on the original, strengthening the sense of “speaking with the person.”
Circular process for human–AI mutual-growth
Using a dedicated smartphone while touring the exhibits, visitors can ask questions and receive tailored explanations that expand into new, reflective prompts—inviting them to consider their own views while learning. The communicator later reviews dialog logs and visitor feedback to further refine both their own practice and the AI clone—probing what “dialogue,” “self-extension,” and human–AI mutual-growth could mean in everyday communication.
