Silver Clouds x Fragment Shadow
As the name suggests, Silver Clouds, first exhibited in 1966, featured silver balloons that constantly moved about, triggering not only the conventional relationship between art and viewer, but also drawing curiosity by the distorted scenery created by the reflections, and ultimately encouraged participation through touch.
This “dynamic of actions and art piece” may in fact be considered the very first experiments of interactive design in media arts which developed in the late 20th century.
This exclusive installation makes it possible to experience both the “Fragment Shadow”, the interactive media arts produced by Shunichi Kasahara, a researcher at the Sony Computer Science Laboratories(Sony CSL) and Warhol’s Silver Clouds simultaneously and creates an opportunity for each person who experiences it to consider contexts of how beauty, the idea of which Warhol continued to reconstruct, has been inherited cognitively as well as through the senses.
Fragment Shadowが、アンディ・ウォーホルの《銀の雲》（英：Silver Clouds）（複製）とコラボレーションし、新しいインタラクション体験を提供します。ウォーホルの触れることができるインタラクティブ・アート作品《銀の雲》（複製）と、「Fragment Shadow」の融合がもたらす体験はアンディ・ウォーホルの数多い展示会でも初の試みとなります。1966年の作品に現代の自分を投影することができる新しいアートインタラクション体験です。
