Our AI Science Communicators (AISC) are on show at the Good Design Award Exhibition 2026 at Tokyo Midtown, through November 4.
Developed by Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Miraikan, and Koozyt, AISC received the 2026 Good Design Award for a design in which people and AI learn and grow together.
AI symbionts of Miraikan’s science communicators can talk with multiple visitors at the same time. The conversation logs are returned to the human communicators, helping them learn from visitors’ questions and interests. This knowledge is shared across the organization and used to improve the AI communicators, creating a cycle in which people and AI grow together.
