Our AI Science Communicators (AISC) at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), part of “Society with AI Symbionts”, received the 2026 Good Design Award in the category “Applications and Software for the general public”.
The entry, 「人と学び合い、共に成長する『AI科学コミュニケーター』」 (An AI Science Communicator that co-learns with people and grows together), was submitted by Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Miraikan, and Koozyt. The jury praised the AI clones modeled on Miraikan’s science communicators, which let them talk with more visitors, and the design that feeds the conversation logs back to the science communicators to support their learning and growth.
