Our paper “Conversational Agents on Your Behalf: Opportunities and Challenges of Shared Autonomy in Voice Communication for Multitasking” (Yi Fei Cheng, Hirokazu Shirado, Shunichi Kasahara) received a Best Paper Award at ACM CHI 2025.
We also presented a second paper, “Realism Drives Interpersonal Reciprocity but Yields to AI-Assisted Egocentrism in a Coordination Experiment” (Hirokazu Shirado, Kye Shimizu, Nicholas A. Christakis, Shunichi Kasahara), which builds on our PNAS 2023 study. The two papers were presented on April 28 and 30.
